The price of the bass is "as-is". Please read the notes about the bass before inquiring: 
 
•The fingerboard is thin (as thin as 3mm,) and could stand to be replaced. 
 
•The neck has a short overstand. To correct, the bass needs a neck reset for ease of playing in the thumb-position. 
 
•The top deformation in the bridge foot/soundpost area is pretty severe. The top is no thicker than 7mm. To correct this would involve removing the top making a plaster cast, gradually reforming it with heat and pressure and adding a breastplate patch in the center area. This repair would cost several thousand dollars and would make the bass more structurally sound. Though we’d expect it to, we can’t guarantee that it will sound better.
 
All this said, the bass is currently playable and has a desirable and punchy sound. It is extremely light. Would make a great little jazz or could be fixed up to be a solo-rep bass.
