Purchasing Instruments

Ross Double Bass Inc. stocks a variety of Shen, Eastman and Calin Wultur double-basses, as well as consignments.  The stock of new and used basses is constantly evolving, so please call or email to make an appointment, or come by during normal business hours to play some of these fine instruments.

   We regularly have laminated and hybrid basses available on a rent to own basis.  This is good for someone who wants to just try playing the bass.  The cost for laminates (like a Shen SB88 or Eastman VB85) is $100 a month with $80 available as credit to buying the bass and $125 a month for the hybrids (e.g. Shen SB150 or Eastman VB105) with $100 being available as credit towards purchase.  There is a four month minimum commitment paid in advance. We will often let someone purchase a bass with 1/2 down and 12 month no interest payments.  There are trade in options as well for basses we've sold.
