Kay C1 bass #27768 (1951) SOLD!!!!

Notes from Bob:
Top reinforced, neck thickened and reinforced with carbon fiber, new Bubinga fingerboard,  new Despiau one tree bridge with 7/16;14 thread New Harmony adjusters, new soundpost, Eastman endpin socket 10mm rod with removable crutch tip.  Spirocore Weich strings.
Note: Neck had been reattached to the block previously by persons unknown, but with the strings off there is no detectable play in the neck.  
Unlike a number of old Kays, bass is loud and clear and responsive.
